Overview: The CRS Group is currently looking for an Accounts Payable Processor for one of our clients in the Vernon Hills area. The CRS Group is a nationwide Staffing Firm who works primarily with Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 corporations.
 
Job Description:
 
The Accounts Payable Processor is responsible for all of the manual data entry of the accounts payable vendor inventory invoices. This role is responsible for the daily input of 100-200 invoices. Using the AS400 and PeopleSoft systems, this role is responsible for ensuring that all data entered is accurate and completed in a timely manner. 

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Enter inventory invoices into the accounts payable system. 
  • Ensure all vendor invoices are processed daily. 
  • Identify and disseminate discrepancies and matching errors utilizing company systems and by interacting with people from multiple departments. 
  • Input invoice adjustments based on invoice analysis. 
  • Perform special projects and reports as requested.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent 
  • Experience with data entry in a high-volume environment 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications 
  • Understands inventory processing 
  • Has a basic accounting background. 
  • Has a basic understanding of debit and credits. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. 
  • Proven ability to analyze, interpret and resolve discrepancies associated with accounts payable and purchase orders. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all stakeholders. 
  • History of balancing multiple priorities simultaneously with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines.
