Overview: The CRS Group is currently looking for a Change Management Consultant for one of our clients in the Chicagoland area. The CRS Group is a nationwide Staffing Firm who works primarily with Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 corporations.
Job Description:
The Manager, Strategic Change, is responsible for developing and executing alignment, change enablement, and strategic communication strategies in support of the Global Technology. Global Technology is responsible for the entire global technology portfolio, ranging from our restaurant and digital technologies to the infrastructure and technology platforms that support our business. The restaurant and digital technology powers 71 million orders in 120 countries across the globe every single day - serving 1% of the total global population. The position is responsible for creating and implementing effective change plans for technology priorities, shifts, and organization change. The Manager is part of the broader Strategic Change team and ensures alignment of change strategies and messages necessary to successfully position Global Technology and its priorities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensures alignment and cultivates relationships with key stakeholders within the business and
  • Communicate and align on shared goals to ensure a common focus on strategic priorities and drive better business results.
  • Create opportunities for dialogue and alignment for through departmental meetings, planning process, and internal messaging.
  • Advise the leadership team on translating the Global Technology strategic direction and help to prioritize key discussions with the leadership team and initiative teams to align with intended outcomes.
  • Partner with the Director, Strategic Change to set the strategic agenda and establish change enablement scope on key projects
  • Create phased, proactive change strategy in support of department initiatives
  • Conduct impact analyses to understand stakeholder needs and commitment
  • Create and facilitate on-going stakeholder analysis and action plans for specific initiatives
  • Assist with the development and socialization of processes and protocols for implementing change
  • Create proactive communication strategies to support high priority projects and communicate to key stakeholders and audiences.
  • Plan and develop strategic messages and communication plans to drive organizational change and specific events to drive awareness and adoption.
  • Scope, support, and assign necessary resources to deliver strategic message opportunities and command performances for VP as it relates to projects.
  • Ensure relevance, consistency, integration, alignment, and appropriate timing of messages across the organization.
  • Develop and monitor mechanisms to continually gather feedback from key stakeholders to adjust change and communication strategies where needed.
  • Counsel individuals on development of key messages and on effective message delivery.
  • Support project teams by reviewing and recommending refinements to direct communication work products.
  • Leverage knowledge of communication and the functional area employee mindset to advise and assist functional teams.

  • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in change, organization development and / or communications-related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in organization development, strategic change, or consulting, with an emphasis on internal communications.
  • Experience within IT (e.g. End User Compute, SharePoint/Collaboration tools) is preferred
  • Proven leadership and ability to influence and work with multi-disciplined teams.
  • Demonstrated success leading change and communications for large scale initiatives from start to completion.
  • Previous experience managing executive-level communications on the status of projects.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement change and communication strategy for key initiatives.
  • Proven ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment and support multiple high priority work streams
  • High level of strategic focus and perspective and tactical ability to deliver.
  • In-depth knowledge of electronic communication strategies, tools, and vehicles and application of written communication skills
  • Ability to create training material as needed Quick Reference Guides, Cheat Sheets, Captivate or Video (iMovie or other) experience a plus)
