Compensation Analyst
Duration: 9+ month contract
Location: Riverwoods, IL 60015
 
Overview: The CRS Group is currently looking for a Compensation Analyst for one of our clients in the Riverwoods area. The CRS Group is a nationwide Staffing Firm who works primarily with Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 corporations.
 
Summary: Responsible for providing counsel and support to HR on compensation related matters, policies, practices, and procedures. Collaborates directly with the business to advise and execute on compensation initiatives. Conducts job evaluations, market analyses, and research to support compensation decisions and program recommendations.
 
Major Responsibilities
  • Utilizes analytics, data, and research results in the implementation of compensation solutions designed to support business objectives. 30% 


  • Analyzes job profiles and specifications using job evaluation and leveling techniques. Aligns jobs and establishes compensation parameters equitable within the organization and competitive to the external market. Ensures all reviewed jobs have the proper exemption status, meet compliance requirements, and regulatory standards. 30%


  • Identifies process improvement and best practice opportunities for business processes.Documents new procedures and business process work flows. 20%


  • Participates in third party compensation surveys. Performs research with peer companies and similar external markets. 20%

Qualifications:
  • Preferred Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or Business
  • Minimum 2+ years in Compensation, HR, job evaluation or related
  • Preffered 4+ years Compensation, HR, job evaluation or related
