Job Description


Overview: The CRS Group is currently looking for a Copywriter for one of our clients in the Riverwoods area. The CRS Group is a nationwide Staffing Firm who works primarily with Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 corporations.


Duration: 9+ month contract


Location: Riverwoods, IL 60015
 
Responsibilities:
  • Plans for the effective development and implementation of long-term projects.
  • Researches and prepares written copy content for a variety of complex marketing applications and programs such as internet web pages, direct mail, print ads, media advertising pieces, marketing collateral, promotional literature, articles, internal/external publications, and other assigned projects.
  • Contacts internal and external sources to develop copy content.
  • May lead functional teams or projects
  • Works on highly complex in area of specialty.
  • Highly skilled with extensive proficiency in area of specialty.
  • Assignments are quite varied and highly complex with few standard procedures.
  • Latitude for independent judgment and decision making within defined guidelines.
  • Gathers information, consults those who need to be involved, and puts decisions into action.
  • Considers the implications of options when making a difficult decision.
  • Works independently with guidance in only the most complex situations.
  • Participates in determining objectives of assignment.
  • Plans, schedules, and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives.
  • Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meetings

Qualifications:
  • Requires thorough knowledge of company products, services, marketing strategies and company editorial standards/practices.
  • Thorough marketing knowledge and writing ability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
