Overview: The CRS Group is currently looking for an HR Manager for one of our clients in the Deerfield area. The CRS Group is a nationwide Staffing Firm who works primarily with Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 corporations.


Job Description:

This position supports the HR strategy for the assigned client group, ensuring strategy is positively affecting the bottom-line of the business and that high-quality HR processes are being delivered to the business and correctly applied. This position is responsible for providing HR support for business leaders, and employees, and partnering with the Business HR team to provide HR Generalist support. This position manages initiatives related to organization and management team effectiveness and organization design. This position will drive the common execution and implementation of HR processes across the function.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop HR plans and execute strategies to support the achievement of business objectives and achievement of desired organizational culture
  • Consult with management on a variety of HR and business-related issues, both strategic and operational
  • Manage day-to-day Employee Relations, staffing, and compensation issues in partnership CEOs; engage COEs to apply enterprise-wide processes
  • Coach management on key annual compensation activities
  • Recommend and drive improvement to HR systems, policies & processes (e.g. ongoing coordination with COEs on initiatives and communications)
  • Partner with HR Team to provide HR partnership the assigned client group
  • Support HR team in implementing function HR plans and programs (performance management, Annual Compensation Review, Talent Review Process)
  • Proactively communicate with employees and managers regarding HR policies and practices and key HR programs
  • Participates in local talent planning which includes implementation of function-wide training and development plans and talent management support including support of leadership assessment process
  • Partner with leaders and employees to drive employee engagement and involvement
  • Data management responsibilities to include processing Workday changes, reporting on key facility wide initiatives, audits of data, earnings payout and data correction as needed
  • Maintain measurement systems and analyze data to determine the impact of HR programs
  • Makes recommendations to management based upon analysis

Job Requirements


  • At least 5 years of HR professional experience with at least 2 years in a generalist role
  • Familiar with Workday
  • Required: Microsoft Word, Excel (pivot tables / vlookups / reporting), PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Strong knowledge of HR management components such as training, compensation, performance management, change leadership and organizational design. Demonstrated application of those skills and partnership with HR Centers of Expertise also needed
  • A proven track record of disciplined action and execution in Human Resource roles. In those roles, there should be demonstrated skills and proficiency in the following areas: ability to persuade and influence effectively at multiple levels of an organization, strong teamwork and proven skills communicating effectively.
  • The ability to manage relationships through understanding of environment and needs
  • Strong project and process management skills and strong consulting skills.
  • Experience working with Leadership Team members and employees working from a variety of locations
  • Strong HR process orientation (Compensation, Talent Mgmt, etc).
  • Employee relations experience; experience working with employees to rollout processes or policies, resolve issues, etc.
  • The ability to think strategically and also drive tactics to completion
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
