Overview: The CRS Group is currently looking for a Project Manager for one of our clients in the Deerfield area. The CRS Group is a nationwide Staffing Firm who works primarily with Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 corporations.

Job Description:

The Business Transformation Office (BTO) has been established with responsibility for leading a number of initiatives. The BTO reports to the CFO, and is coordinating change efforts to advance many aspects of our 2020 strategy. The BTO programs are focused on managing costs, transforming our organization and reducing complexity, allowing the company to focus resources on key business goals and reinvest in innovation and sustainable growth. This role will support critical cost savings-driving portfolio simplification programs that are moving into implementation phase and involve implementation changes to the product portfolio as well as product characteristics. Assigned programs require cross functional implementation steps (between global manufacturing plants, R&D, Regulatory, Marketing/Sales, Legal, etc.) to enable short- and long-term cost savings.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Accountable for core team performance, project schedule and execution, budget commitments and spend
  • Leads assigned teams in defining project strategies, developing goals, and ensures project scope is defined and controlled. 
  • Drives implementation of projects by establishing strategy, schedules, budgets, and financial analysis. 
  • Leads cross functional implementation planning sessions to outline project timelines/milestones and functional resource estimates
  • Interacts through program updates and reviews with all functions and levels of management ensuring effective ongoing communications across teams and stakeholders. 
  • Continuously interacts with all functions ensuring effective ongoing communications across teams and stakeholders
  • Updates scorecard for assigned projects and presents updates to senior management.
  • Manages core team logistics including organizing meetings, agendas, and tracking of action items.
  • Manages program budget and business case. Rolls up budget estimation information as needed.
  • Partners with Finance to track actual financial savings to plan
  • Drives use of Project Management Methodology throughout projects. 
  • Leads team in risk management approaches and systems. 
  • Responsible for making decisions regarding the appropriate risk when there is substantial project or program impact. 

  • MBA/MS or Bachelor’s with equivalent plus 7 years project management experience and 10 years of demonstrated success leading multi-site, global or enterprise-wide programs in the medical products industry
  • Demonstrated project management skills in Pharma/Device product development cycle
  • Strong capability of cross-culture communication/collaboration
  • Strong PowerPoint and executive presentation skills
  • Demonstrated competencies in all aspects of project management
  • PMI or equivalent certification desired
  • Proficiency with scheduling software (e.g. Microsoft Project)
  • Product Development experience, familiarity with Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) Experience in and FDA regulated environment is highly desirable.
