Overview: The CRS Group is currently looking for a Videographer for one of our clients in the Chicagoland area. The CRS Group is a nationwide Staffing Firm who works primarily with Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 corporations.
Job Description:
We are looking for a videographer that has their own camera and equipment to record 8 ARG events for our client next year. Our client has 8 different Associate Resource Groups: Asian American Network, Capable Associate Network (CAN), Latino Associate Network, N-GEN (Next Gen Empowerment Network), Network of Black Associates, USC Pride, Veteran Associates Leading Organizational Results (VALOR), and Women in Action. The videographer will need to record each ARG event, some light editing and adding closed captioning.  The events are anywhere from 45 - 90 minutes. There may be some travel for the events any travel expenses will be reimburses.  Travel can include: Wisconsin, Knoxville, TN and Tulsa, OK
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Operates video cameras, on location or in the studio, in the production of professional pre-recorded programming.
  • Designs, transports, sets up, and operates production equipment, including audio and lighting equipment, for field and studio productions.
  • Computer edits video segments on a variety of tape and digital formats.
  • Completes trouble and preventive maintenance reports on video and audio production equipment; assists in repair and upkeep of studio and production sets and properties.
  • Maintains equipment inventory and field and studio production schedules.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

  • Experience as a videographer
  • Ability to assist with the 8 events next year
  • Ability to edit film content and add closed captioning
  • Strong knowledge and ability when it comes to videography and new and exciting technology
  • High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
  • Ability to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and perform repairs to audio and video equipment.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and schedules.
  • Records maintenance skills.
  • Ability to configure, operate and maintain studio and/or field audio, lighting and associated production equipment.
  • Knowledge of computerized tape editing applications and procedures.
  • Knowledge of professional audio and/or video tape editing and post-production procedures, techniques, and standards.
