Visual Interface Designer
Duration: 3+ month contract to hire
Location: Chicago, IL 60601
Overview: The CRS Group is currently looking for a Visual Interface Designer for one of our clients in the Chicagoland area. The CRS Group is a nationwide Staffing Firm who works primarily with Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 corporations.

Collaborating with partners and stakeholders across the organization, our design practice offers a flexible approach to reconciling member and employee needs with business goals, enabled by the unique capabilities of technology. The design team is looking for a Visual Designer. Alongside your experience taming enterprise-level complexity, your track record should include delivering attractive and approachable visual design. You’ll breathe life into digital experience by leveraging the aesthetic elements of your practice to create artifacts and assets that further grow the visual design language.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Operate as an integrated member the DUET team, collaborating to effectively reconcile user needs with business goals within the unique capabilities of technology
  • Maintain a focus on the user experience while achieving product and technical business needs
  • Play a central role in the refinement and evolution of our emerging enterprise design system
  • Collaborate with your design peers to enhance and evolve our growing design practice
  • Be a proactive advocate for the human-centered approach
  • Learn from and share your knowledge and expertise with others

  • A history of applying your strengths to adapt and thrive in various situations/environments
  • Rich experience in visual interface design roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline. Advanced education in design, MFA, HCI, IxD, psychology, or the like is a plus
  • Experience developing and/or maturing a holistic design system/visual product language
  • Experience with research methods and activities
  • Experience in healthcare is a plus
  • Realistically optimistic: Your outlook is hopeful and anchors to possibilities over problems
