Overview: The CRS Group is currently looking for a Warehouse Supervisor for one of our clients in the Milwaukee area. The CRS Group is a nationwide Staffing Firm who works primarily with Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 corporations.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Seen as a go-to person for the warehouse function and manages the storerooms and transportation function including parts and deliveries to internal and external customers.
  • Administrate the DOT program requirements. 
  • This role also may have responsibility for project management, continuous improvement activities, and department budgets. This includes prioritization of schedules and manning. 
  • This role may also be responsible for planning over multiple areas and has a high level of technical expertise.
  • Oversee the loading of crates, trucks and railcars.
  • Welding process are used for railcar securement.

 
Qualifications:
  • Associates degree or equivalent.
  • 5 years warehouse supervisory experience preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience within a warehouse environment.
  • CPIM Certification or other 'logistics' certifications (APICS etc.) preferred.
  • Must have experience managing people. Need to have warehouse management specifically, at least 2-3 years.
