Analytics Senior Analyst
 
Duration: 4 month contract
Location: Cambridge, MA
 
Overview: The CRS Group is currently looking for a Analytics Senior Analyst for one of our clients in the Cambridge area. The CRS Group is a nationwide Staffing Firm who works primarily with Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 corporations.
 
 
 
Job Description:
  • Corporate Services (CS) is a newly formed organization responsible for the delivery of essential transactional business services within our client
  • The immediate near-term scope for CS includes core processes in Finance and HR - Procure-to-Pay, Invoice-to-Cash, Record-to-Report and Hire-to-Retire
  • Additionally, the role will support analytics and metrics reporting for Global Travel, Meetings and Events, Security, Real Estate and Facilities
  • Based in Cambridge, MA, The Analytics Senior Analyst will support the Global Analytics Lead in driving world class service performance through the use of data analytics for effective reporting and decision making across the CS
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding and experience in data extraction, analysis, and reporting using Analytical and BI tools
  • The position will have a substantial focus on the development and maintenance of analytical and BI applications, and will work directly with program managers and functional stakeholders to design, build and implement reporting solutions
  • Preferred experience in QlikView and Qlik Sense

 
Duties and Responsibilities:
100% of Time: Tactical Data Oversight and Project Management
  • Consults with Global Lead on using business intelligence data to facilitate implementation of new tools and data sets
  • Supports project to design, build and maintain automated reporting and dashboards to track business performance metrics within Qlik reporting tools
  • Builds manual metric reporting across multiple business functions
  • Ensures quality of the data collected to ensure accuracy of metrics
  • Collaborates with other Analytics team members to share best practices and ensure consistency across reporting functionality
  • Defines, refines and executes on evolving reporting and analytical needs to ensure top quality deliverables/services are provided to our business customers
  • Supports ad hoc data requirements to fulfill Sr. Management requests

 
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in business, mathematics, sciences, or related analytical field
  • 3+ years of experience in a shared service / professional services analytics based role
  • Experience with reporting and analytical packages essential – Preferably, with QlikView and Qlik Sense
  • Strong written and oral communication and management skills
  • Demonstrated business acumen
  • Very strong excel skills including building macros

 
Management:
  • The individual must be self-motivated, a team player, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and possess the ability to manage simultaneous projects, prioritizing based on business criticality/needs, in a demanding environment
  • Ability to influence without formal authority
  • A strong background in data analysis, project management, and the ability to translate business needs into requirements

 
Technical:
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Software knowledge for key systems (Microsoft, Excel & Word, SQL, BI applications)
