Business Systems Analyst
 
Duration: 6 month contract
Location: Baltimore, MD
 
Overview: The CRS Group is currently looking for a Business Systems Analyst for one of our clients in the Baltimore area. The CRS Group is a nationwide Staffing Firm who works primarily with Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 corporations.
 
 
 
Job Description:
  • Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs
  • Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies
  • Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Performs a variety of tasks
  • Leads and directs the work of others
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
  • Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department

 
 
Qualifications:
  • Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 6-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Good general understanding of IT systems, especially around their security controls
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Good ability with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Able to test custom developed application, documenting and tracking defects
  • Ability to produce end-user documentation
