Communication Specialist / Project Manager
Duration: 6-month contract
Location: Northbrook, IL
Overview: The CRS Group is currently looking for a Project Manager for one of our clients in the Northbrook area. The CRS Group is a nationwide Staffing Firm who works primarily with Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 corporations.
Job Description:
  • Seeking an Executive Communication expert using PowerPoint with quick response times 
  • 3+ years of experience in IT project management (not analyst or coordinator roles), any methodology
  • Experience in IT will allow for quick understanding of the scope required for the position
  • Candidate will apply the communications work as a program with multiple projects of communication
  • Candidate will leverage consulting skills to gather communication requirements, create the communication plan, communication calendar, and execute the communication deliverables
  • Must be an advanced, expert, creator, in PowerPoint and verbal presentations (creating graphics, images, editing SmartArt) written email, and a strong user of Word and Excel 
  • Must have excellent written English, along with executive communication skills and polished executive presence
  • Have the ability to create meeting minutes in concise clear fashion and tailor communication to audience 
  • Must have a high level of design discipline 
  • Time management skills and the ability to clarify requests and self-motivate are essential 
  • Must be able to handle pressure and prioritize tasks effectively while working towards deadlines 
  • Uses functional, business, and technical knowledge to deliver the best solution
  • Must be thorough and have attention to detail in all areas to drive high-standards and quality levels 
  • Must be dynamic and professional, and willing to be flexible to accommodate the demands of client deadlines 
  • Basic understanding of project lifecycle and management (project plan, milestones, issues, risks, status report, etc.) 
  • Edit Master Slides and Page layouts 
  • Review documents for flow and consistency, formatting objects, text boxes and charts 
  • Initiate communication with the job originator to clarify direction or make queries to assure directions are clear and the job will be accurately executed
  • Provide estimates and updates of when job will be completed
