Communications Specialist
 
Duration: 4 month contract
Location: Horsham, PA
 
Overview: The CRS Group is currently looking for a Communications Specialist for one of our clients in the Horsham area. The CRS Group is a nationwide Staffing Firm who works primarily with Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 corporations.
 
 
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Communications support: Draft internal messages to support business initiatives, including HR, IT, Legal, and others
  • Editorial for ARRIS intranet, iConnect
  • Coordinate internal communications for ARRIS Racing and ARRIS Retail products and promotions
  • Event support: Webinar scheduling, prep, management and follow-up
  • Site communications support for Facilities/Site Operations, Security, localized IT efforts

 
 
Qualifications:
 
Top 3 Required Skills:
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, as evidenced by past experience and writing samples
  • Excellent project management, problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong verbal communications skills, as well as excellent presentation skills

 
Soft skills:
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to build teamwork and trust
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to lead work groups and teams
  • Positive attitude and willingness to embrace change

 
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or similar
  • Minimum of 2 years of Communications or Public Relations experience developing and implementing communications plans and programs

 
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in a global corporate environment is preferred
  • Strong PowerPoint skills, as well as understanding of Microsoft SharePoint is preferred
  • Demonstrates ability to work independently and as part of a virtual team
