Job Description

Overview: The CRS Group is currently looking for a Compensation Analyst for one of our clients in the Rosemont area. The CRS Group is a nationwide Staffing Firm who works primarily with Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 corporations.
 
 
 
Job Description:
  • Performs professional level administrative, support and analytical activities to maintain and administer company compensation programs
  • Participates in compensation surveys, coordinates job descriptions, and prepares and analyzes data
  • Makes recommendations regarding market pricing of jobs.

 
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Participate in salary surveys, and analyze data from survey sources to determine competitiveness both internally and externally
  • Price new jobs utilizing salary surveys or slotting
  • Design and prepare ad hoc compensation and budget related reports for management
  • Write job descriptions and maintain database of all job descriptions
  • Assist in preparation of merit increase and incentive programs and budgeting
  • Typical years’ experience in field is 5+ years. Typically holds Bachelor's Degree
  • Update bonus plan summaries
  • Complete salary survey submissions
  • Perform job evaluations/market pricing 
  • Manage compensation mailbox 
  • Project support (Send out planning workbooks and bonus spreadsheets, etc) 
  • Review communication materials 
  • Sales bonus payout template 
  • Create merit workbooks 
  • Create LTI spreadsheets 
  • Perform minimum wage analysis 
  • Bonus/401k/ESPP memo
  • Verify location matches for Driver and Selector jobs 
  • Update/rematch jobs 
  • Maintain updated job code list for WorkDay (including bonus codes, telecom allowance, etc) 
  • Update job description log (with links to job description copies) 
  • Work with HR to get copies of job descriptions that are missing from Comp's files (from Taleo or other sources) 
  • Run Peoplesoft reports 
  • Scan documents to replace paper files 



Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in Human Resources or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' Compensation Analyst experience. requiring a broad understanding of compensation techniques, methods and practices
  • Must have excellent computer skills including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • PeopleSoft, WorkDay and MarketPay (survey database) experience preferred
