Overview: The CRS Group is currently looking for a Cyber Security Vulnerability Assessment PM for one of our clients in the Owings Mills area. The CRS Group is a nationwide Staffing Firm who works primarily with Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 corporations.
 
 
 
Job Description:
  • The Cyber Security Vulnerability Assessment Project Manager will work closely with the program manager, IT project leads, and IT/Business stakeholders assure that all Cyber Security Vulnerability Assessment and Management requirements are identified and met, including verifying that reports and documentation are complete and properly handled across all areas of the Company
  • The Cyber Security Vulnerability Assessment Project Manager will manage multiple business critical projects, and provide direction for the implementation of our client’s Vulnerability Assessment and Management Program across all Business Units
  • This position will be responsible for continuing to deliver on-time project fulfillment and report success of the overall program under the guidance of CISS Leadership
  • This individual should be able to work well under pressure, be able to manage multiple on-going projects, and establish key working relations at many levels of the organization

 
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • The Cyber Security Vulnerability Assessment Project Manager will manage multiple business critical projects, and provide direction for the implementation of client’s Vulnerability Assessment and Management Program across all Business Units
  • Establish, maintain, and enhance relationships with business and IT partners.  Communicate status to key stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Solid understanding of networking protocols, devices, and architecture to be able to understand and speak to security risk assessment findings

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), or a related discipline, and typically 2 or more years of solid, diverse experience in managing projects related to cyber security risk assessments, security auditing, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of change management techniques associated with new technology implementation
  • At least 2-5 years of demonstrable experience managing complex projects
  • Proven analytical, problem solving, and consulting skills
  • Excellent communications skills and the proven ability to work effectively with all levels of IT/OT and business management
  • Appropriate technical skills and in-depth knowledge of business unit functions and applications, including:
  • Knowledge of project management principles and techniques
  • Knowledge of resource management principles and techniques
  • Experience managing multiple and/or complex projects
  • Knowledge and experience in the implementation of governance frameworks and security risk management processes, such as NIST 800-53 or NIST Cyber Security Framework
  • Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies
