Job Description

Position:  Enterprise Data Architect
Duration:  6-12 months NO C2C's 
Location:  Northbrook, IL  60042  LOCALS ONLY - must be on-site
       I am looking for an Enterprise Data Architect that can drive solutions and provide in-depth technical and business expertise on decisions and priorities regarding systems architecture. Educates and facilitates the establishment and implementation of standards and guidelines that guide the design of technology solutions. Develops and documents the framework for integration and implementation for changes to existing technical architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Customer Data Strategy Initiatives affecting both Customer MDM and interfacing systems
  • Partner with different areas in the enterprise to drive change management in the most efficient manner;
  • Drive the evolution of the Customer data ecosystem;
  • Drive detailed design to incorporate Strategic Personalization insights into operational processes; leveraging variety of data collected about the customer and incorporating a variety of business interests (e.g. servicing, marketing, experimentation, etc.)
  • Design a comprehensive logging framework across a variety of platforms making up the overall Customer MDM to enable analysis to identify bottlenecks, understand who is using customer data where and when
  • Identify alternatives for the integration, organization and governance of our data to facilitate the development and application of various business capabilities that will help us win in the market;
  • Ensure a cross functional view of business data is available to the enterprise;
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of processes to maintain high quality data assets;

  • Proficient in industry practices for master data management, data quality, metadata management and data modeling;  
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex concepts;  
  • Ability to concentrate on a wide range of loosely defined complex situations, which require application of creativity and originality, where guidance and counsel may be unavailable;  
  • Ability to work in a team environment in a collaborative manner;
  • Partner with other architects, system analysts, and business units in order to improve the effectiveness of design decisions;
  • Ability to structure and maintain documents to effectively communicate with management, business partners, and technology teams to convey architecture concepts and drive alignment and decision making,
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities given aggressive timelines; comfortable performing in a fast paced, dynamic and ambiguous business environment
  • Proficiency in Sparx Enterprise Architect and/or MS Visio desirable
