HR Associate
 
Duration: 6 month contract
Location: Chicago, IL
 
Overview: The CRS Group is currently looking for a HR Associate for one of our  Clients in the Chicago area. The CRS Group is a nationwide Staffing Firm who works primarily with Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 corporations.
 
 
 
Job Description:
  • Under broad supervision provides human resources (HR) generalist support for a business area which may include, but is not limited to, employee relations, performance management, compensation administration, employee training and recruiting
  • This person will serve as an HR Associate/Assistant, aside from the general job summary, our client is needing someone who can also work as a functional user in Workday, candidate must have that Workday experience
  • This role will be doing data entry and some testing
  • This person will be doing some general admin work and will occasionally have some front desk duty so should also have strong people skills

 
 
Qualifications:
  • Basic knowledge of and ability to interpret HR and organizational policies, practices and procedures
  • Ability to work with and maintain confidential information
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with staff at all levels
  • Good organizational skills including ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including outlook and other business related software systems as well as proficiency in the use of data reporting technologies
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Typically a minimum one year human resources experience
