Position: Inside Sales Representative
Duration: 10 - 12 months
Location: Deerfield, IL 60015 Ability to work remote 1-2 days a week once established.

I am looking for a highly motivated individual to contact, develop, and manage relationships with select channel partners in order to acquire merchant outlets, achieve merchant acceptance/awareness goals and promote company branding. In this role you will be cold calling, gathering information and documenting into Salesforce. The ideal candidate will have Sales, cold calling or customer service management experience and financial, payment card, or Point of sale processing understanding. You will be working in the digital and integrated payments teams and will be helping to deploy a sales promotion that engages clients and promotes company awareness to retailers and merchants. You will also document communications, follow-up and investigate to develop an outreach program to a designated list of technology payment enablers/providers/vendors.
Engage the appropriate parties within our technology partner community of companies to perform the following.
  • Research companies to gain proper payments contacts and contact info
  • Establish contact and possibly send them an outreach survey
  • Schedule and conduct outreach call that includes the appropriate partner contact and personnel
  • Deduce information gained from partners to formulate strategic plan and go forward approach
  • Record results in Salesforce.com as information is received
  • Perform ongoing reporting using Salesforce.com, Excel, and Word
  • communicate gained information to internaLteams  
  • Qualifications:
  • Experience managing multiple business client relationships simultaneously
  • Possess excellent external and internal client communication (verbal and written) and management skills
  • Ability to effectively deliver information to internal and external constituents at all levels
  • Strong aptitude for planning and organization
  • Strong PC competency including MS Office products such as Excel and Word
  • Creative problem-solving and innovative thinking skills
  • High level of initiative and ability to work without daily supervision
  • Strong analytic and administrative skills
  • Strong attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
  • College degree or compensating experience
  • Ideally experience with electronic payments in the merchant processing card industry strongly preferred, such as with acceptance of Credit/Debit/Prepaid /Chip cards is preferred
  • Experience working with electronic payment gateway and software providers is preferred
  • Experience using Salesforce.com
