Java / Web Services Developer
 
Duration: 5-month contract
Location: Rosemont, IL
 
Overview: The CRS Group is currently looking for a Java / Web Services Developer for one of our clients in the Rosemont area. The CRS Group is a nationwide Staffing Firm who works primarily with Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 corporations.
 
 
 
Job Description:
  • Analyzes, designs, develops, tests, and supports all aspects of several JAVA applications and web services
  • Able to directly configure and utilize Oracle Endeca search engine and integrate with Endeca from Java
  • Must be a fast learner, and eager to mentors less experienced team members
  • Feels comfortable in assuming different roles as a member of a development team

 
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field such as design preferred
  • 3-6 years’ experience analyzing, designing, developing, testing, and implementing services and applications using AGILE methodology
  • Significant knowledge of Endeca, Java, HTML, SQL, and the Spring Framework
  • Leverages Test Driven Development (JUNIT)
  • Solid understanding of EAI, Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Design Patterns, and UML
  • Real understanding (and ability to explain) Java 6 features, especially annotations and generics
  • Web development experience using Spring MVC
  • Web Service experience using CXF, JAX-WS, JAX-RS and JAX-B for REST/SOAP services
  • Significant experience using XMLSpy, JUnit, soapUI, or HP Web Service tester, Load Runner
  • Significant development experience using Eclipse-based IDEs and Tomcat
  • Solid understanding of SQL, relational databases. Maven, ANT, Continuous Integration, PVCS, SVN Excellent verbal and written communication skills
