CAM & Tax Lease Auditor
Duration: 6 month contract
Location: Oak Brook, IL
Overview: The CRS Group is currently looking for a Lease / Rent Auditor for one of our clients in the Oak Brook area. The CRS Group is a nationwide Staffing Firm who works primarily with Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 corporations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • This position is part of the Lease Review Team which is responsible for the review of our client’s leased sites and works closely with the Lease Expense Team responsible for payment (rent and CAM management) of all leased restaurant sites and tax teams regarding tax reimbursement and other property tax matters
  • Reviewing leases for designated locations ensuring the proper base rent, percentage rent, CAM and Tax payments are processed  according to the lease terms and conditions
  • Provide assistance as requested to various customer bases when properties are under review
  • Review lease documents used in lease review audits
  • Run payment history to analyze financial payments and amounts owed/due
  • Generate and analyze billings used for oil site lease reviews
  • Review lease sites by comparing lease terms to lease system for accuracy
  • Compare landlord CAM and Real estate tax reconciliations against the terms of the lease to ensure billing accuracy
  • Prepare detailed analysis and document via Excel amounts due/owed between our client’s, Landlord and/or Owner/Operator

  • 2+ years of experience in analyzing data
  • 2+ years of experience reconciling CAM/Tax
  • 2+ years of experience interpreting leases
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Attention to details and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize and manage several tasks while meeting various deadlines
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills to interface with all levels
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook
  • Self-starter with a strong customer service focus
  • Experience with TRIRIGA and Co-Star is a plus
