Organizational Change Management Consultant
 
Duration: 10 month contract
Location: Riverwoods, IL
 
Overview: The CRS Group is currently looking for a Organizational Change Management Consultant for one of our clients in the Riverwoods area. The CRS Group is a nationwide Staffing Firm who works primarily with Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 corporations.
 
 
 
Job Description:
  • The person in this position will be managing and supporting projects as part of a new Organizational Change Management (OCM) initiative within the Program Management Office (PMO)
  • This position will work closely with stakeholders within, and outside, of the organization to identify and clarify objectives of the effort, understand how those objectives support the overall business goals, ensure deliverables and requirements are clearly defined and deliver value
  • The person in this role will be responsible for developing and executing parts of the OCM initiative, working with PMO Leadership team as well as with key stakeholders supporting the Payment Services business
  • This includes creating new processes, drafting copy for internal communications, maintaining a library of communication tools and managing the overall communication plan
  • The ideal candidate for this position must be able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and motivate others within their team as well as across other teams
  • The candidate must have the ability to think strategically and creatively, have the passion to embrace and drive new ideas and initiatives in the company and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with significant organizational change, Agile delivery, lean principles, and/or in marketing or copywriting would be desired.

 
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Participate with the leadership team to build out and maintain the overall plan for the PMO Transformation initiative, the key driver for the OCM work
  • Facilitate partnerships with other parts of the organization to align on common messages, share best practices and identify opportunities to leverage knowledge and experience across areas
  • Develop and maintain appropriate OCM documents, such as a charter, a work plan with target milestones and status reports as needed
  • Develop communication materials as needed to support the OCM team including presentations, drafts of communications/emails and FAQs
  • Develop and document internal processes, tools and templates for collecting, reviewing and socializing new materials and information to be shared to larger audiences
  • Work with the PMO team to develop strategies, talking points and provide supporting materials to engage and enroll stakeholders in the PMO Transformation
  • Conduct basic analysis on current usage of various channels of communication and identify potential opportunities to improve channel strategy in order to deliver the right level of information to the right audience

 
 
Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of hands-on program management and/or related business analysis experience
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have demonstrated ability to summarize and present information at the appropriate level of detail for the intended audience across various levels in the organization
  • Strong competency using MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, MS Project and Visio software
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and facilitation, and process management skills required
