Overview: The CRS Group is currently looking for a Project Coordinator for one of our clients in the Jacksonville area. The CRS Group is a nationwide Staffing Firm who works primarily with Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 corporations.
Job Description:
Defect Manager and Resolution Lead:
  • Manage/Prioritize/Own and drive resolution of Allstate Benefits and Vendor Systems defects identified by the QA teams from all testing tracks (SIT, Performance, UAT) using an on-demand resource availability matrix
  • To own and chair daily defect calls with lead Development, Test, Vendor and Business Teams, and to provide clear minutes and actions
  • Definition, ownership and management of the Defect Resolution Process
  • Liaising with the QA Testing Team, Allstate System Teams and External software vendor to ensure a clear and efficient interaction within overlapping processes
  • Ensuring all defects are entered correctly and controlled / managed as effectively as possible through their lifecycle
  • Maintaining absolute integrity of the defect database and ensuring a full audit trail for any changes made to defect status outside of the published defect process
  • Generate project, program and executive-level reports demonstrating current state of defect fixes, aging, etc.
  • Change Order Lead:
  • Track and report progress to Program Team on all new change orders as identified and approved
  • Work with product team resource managers to efficiently drive each approved change order through SDLC (requirements, design, test)
  • Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manages highly complex projects independently with little support and direction from others
  • Delivers project results through leadership and influence rather than authority and control
  • Delivers project communication on complicated projects and issues in an easily understood simplified style to any audience
  • Motivates others to share in project challenges and inspires them to achieve project goals while constructively evaluating their performance
  • Customizes solutions for complex issues typically involving enterprise level considerations
  • Drives project execution. Provide direction and oversight throughout project lifecycle to project team to meet applicable business requirements
  • Assesses and reports health of all projects in an objective manner, maintaining project transparency and accurate status; keeping program leadership informed
  • Coordinates, documents, and communicates project plans
  • Accountable for understanding business objectives and how the projects/program delivers them; driving adjustments in projects/program to more effectively achieve desired business results
  • Ability to adapt and respond to changes both inside and outside the projects/program
  • Ability to predict risk areas, design mitigation/contingency strategies and execute on these strategies to avoid issues
  • Ability to lead across a wide variety of project types
  • Qualifications:
  • Education - College degree
  • 8 years Project Management experience on highly complex technical Integration projects with SDLC / ITIL Defect Management / Testing focus
  • PMP Certification (Preferred but not required)
  • Experience with Insurance industry, particularly Voluntary Benefits (Preferred but not required)
  • Integration or Infrastructure Technology Manager on large Programs / Projects experience ideal
  • Ability to embrace change in a highly fluid environment
  • Enterprise Systems Vendor Management experience preferred
  • Effective communication & reporting skills required
  • Demonstrate track record in delivering complex projects and/or programs with a strong focus on execution
  • Strong written/verbal communication and facilitation skills for communicating at all levels; including strong presentation skills
  • Demonstrate strong skills in team leadership and conflict management
  • Strong consultative, customer focus skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Visio, Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Experience with HPQC/ALM preferred
