Program Manager
 
Duration: 12-month contract
Location: Fort Washington, PA
 
Overview: The CRS Group is currently looking for a Program Manager for one of our clients in the Fort Washington area. The CRS Group is a nationwide Staffing Firm who works primarily with Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 corporations.
 
 
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage delivery of the program, coordinating day-to-day interactions with the business, functional, and internal change teams as well as our external partners and other resources that are supporting execution
  • Oversees all aspects across program, change and benefits and protects strategic intent
  • Executes governance for the program and coordinates across stakeholders
  • Drives execution at pace, with clear timelines and deliverables within agreed timeframe(s)
  • Manage, drive and execute key activities across multiple workstreams (growth, technology, automation, shared services) and functional areas (e.g. finance, marketing, HR, and IT departments) to deliver transformation objectives
  • Manage reporting and resolution of issues, risks and dependencies, proactively identifying potential planning gaps, suggesting mitigations to risks, actions to close issues or complete open items
  • Liaise with Executive Committee and business unit leadership where necessary to facilitate effective coordination, governance and negotiate overcome objections from stakeholders and various levels of management to resolve issues
  • Understand situational interpretations and analyze data to identify and understand challenges, escalates issues and risks
  • Establishes information transparency and presents and explain findings to leadership team and key individuals
  • Develop measurable KPIs and publish dashboards to report status and progress, including tracking key benefits metrics in partnership with the finance teams

 
 
Qualifications:
  • Strong project management skills to support multiple complex workstreams across business and technology areas, with strategic and tactical communication planning and execution skills
  • Excellent communications and facilitation skills to build relationships and foster trust at all organizational levels
  • Demonstrate ability to discuss and champion the business case for change to a business audience, and then plan and execute solutions that are of recognizable value to the business
  • Ability to build new relationships across BUs and functional teams, with ability to challenge status quo and have gravitas with the Bus
  • Excellent presentation and analytical skills including PowerPoint, Excel, Word
  • Ability to leverage analytical and problem-solving skills in complex and ever-changing situations to facilitate data-driven decisions along with the ability to solve problems, execute and transfer knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to manage conflicts to constructive resolutions, while coordinating across stakeholders and realize program objectives
  • Working knowledge of the insurance market and business environment
  • Reporting acumen to compile and synthesize information
  • 10+ years of Project Management experience leading projects in Financial Services Sector
  • 5+ years of experience leading and delivering cross-functional, business transformation projects
  • Bachelor’s Degree required plus at least 10+ years of relevant experience
  • PMP and / or Lean Certification preferred
  • Excellent program & project management skills
  • Proven track record to manage external management consultants
  • Experience in Agile Project Management methodologies and tools is a plus
  • Proven experience with project management software and tools is a plus
  • Demonstrated proficiency in project management including budgeting and timeline creation
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams
  • Proven experience in developing work plans, project scopes, pricing estimates, and presentations
