Quality Engineer
 
Duration: 18 month contract
Location: Rocky Mount, NC
 
Overview: The CRS Group is currently looking for a Quality Engineer for one of our clients in the Rocky Mount area. The CRS Group is a nationwide Staffing Firm who works primarily with Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 corporations.
 
 
 
Job Description:
  • The Quality Engineer- Investigations is responsible for completing investigations providing documented evidence of root cause and Corrective and Preventive Actions for manufacturing deviations
  • This individual will work closely with employees at multiple levels within the organization in order to achieve timely completion of investigations

 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Conduct and write formal investigation reports with the assistance of plant personnel and support from manager
  • Perform impact risk assessment as well as assist in root cause determination and plans appropriate corrective action and preventive action
  • Defining and recommending corrective and or preventive actions identified through the investigation process
  • Responsible for leading cross functional team meetings regarding assigned investigations
  • Make copies of batch records and logbooks related to assigned investigations
  • Utilize Quality tools for completion of investigations

 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree with 0-2 years experience in the FDA regulated industry
  • Preferably 1-3 years supervisory experience and 2 years experience within Quality required
  • Pharmaceutical operations experience and/or knowledge
  • Superior technical writing and problem solving skills
  • Expertise with word-processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
  • Knowledge of various root cause analysis tools
