Recruiter-Human Resources
 
Duration: 6 month contract
Location: Valley City, UT
 
Overview: The CRS Group is currently looking for a Recruiter-Human Resources for one of our clients in the Valley City area. The CRS Group is a nationwide Staffing Firm who works primarily with Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 corporations.
 
 
Job Description:
  • Responsible for generating applicant flow, including developing and maintaining internal recruiting efforts and tracking methods for all activities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with outside recruiting resources such as state agencies, employment organizations, colleges and universities, etc., as well as develop new and effective recruiting sources
  • Conduct interviews on potential candidates for all positions; i.e., external applicants and internal job-posting candidates
  • Work with other centers within the region to assist with recruiting efforts when needed
  • Post internal job openings and maintain appropriate records in applicant tracking system
  • Notify candidates that are not eligible to post
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with line departments to ensure satisfaction with candidates and hiring decisions
  • Extend official job offers to potential candidates
  • Discuss rejections with declined applicants, as needed
  • Help achieve Affirmative Action and 60-day turnover goals
  • Conduct 50-day retention interviews for current new hire employees, and promote new methods to improve controllable turnover
  • Assist with coordinating interviewing schedule with non-exempt staff to ensure schedule is maximized to fill all requisitions
  • Facilitate training on recruiting issues/behavioral interviewing, as needed
  • Assist with conducting employment-related internal audits
  • Other projects in Human Resources, as assigned

 
 
Qualifications:
  • One to two years previous HR Generalist or Recruiting experience with an emphasis in interviewing and preferably in a call center environment
  • Proven leadership skills and demonstrated potential to move to additional levels of responsibility
  • Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to work in a deadline intensive environment
  • Experience in the use of various online recruitment search engines is strongly preferred
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments with varying due dates and priorities, and exhibits exceptional levels of personal productivity
  • Ability to use Microsoft office products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to create spreadsheets
  • Working knowledge of internet software and e-mail
  • Ability and professional confidence to effectively present information to management staff
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a setting where initiative, a team orientation, strong communication skills, excellent follow through and results are a necessity
  • Ability to work various schedules as needed by business demands
  • Skills Desired: Must be able to accommodate business needs - late nights are required on occasion
