Senior Channel Marketing Manager
Duration: 7-month contract
Location: Chicago, IL
Overview: The CRS Group is currently looking for a Senior Channel Marketing Managerfor one of our clients in the Chicago area. The CRS Group is a nationwide Staffing Firm who works primarily with Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 corporations.
Job Description:
  • The channel marketing team creates and oversees execution of marketing plans and programs for channel go-to-market initiatives within the Commercial as well as the Federal and MR business segments
  • The team oversees regional channel go-to-market strategy, channel communications, partner program development and launch tools to drive partner loyalty, and help drive revenue growth as well as increased profitability for MSI and our indirect channel partners
  • The senior channel marketing program development and execution manager works closely with the indirect sales team, channel partners, and other key working partners to identify sales opportunities that need marketing support
  • Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage marketing department’s relationship with top regional channel sales executives as well as channel partners within the Commercial, Federal, and State and Local (MR) communities
  • Create and execute demand generation campaigns and promotions
  • Plan and execute nationwide partner-based marketing activities including major channel events
  • Create custom content to support channel business opportunities, support selling strategies and prospecting efforts with targeted demand generation programs
  • Identify and communicate regional marketing needs - help communicate the Voice of the channel
  • Drive specific across-region programs to help leverage best practices, and support critical regional marketing programs
  • Evaluate, design, and promote key programs to elevate partner marketing and sales efforts
  • Manage a budget to drive specific channel programs on partner enablement and demand generation
  • Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience working in marketing to, with, and for a partner sales organization
  • Strong experience on demand generation activities leveraging channel partner communities or directly with end-customers
  • Proven experience on Sales Enablement efforts, as well as channel building and on boarding activities
  • Knowledgeable of COOP/MDF programs
  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree
  • 8 years of experience in channel marketing, and demand generation activities
  • Aggressive self-starter, able to rally support from required cross functional team members
  • Program Management - Ability to work on multiple projects with various deadlines at once
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with various organizational levels
  • Experience managing external agencies as well as channel/partner events
  • Experience leveraging/enabling an omnichannel go-to-market approach (direct, indirect, as well as e-commerce) routes to market
  • In-person presentation skills to large groups as well executive audiences
  • Managing the development of marketing materials, videos, web and other digital assets
  • Marketing ROI tracking
  • Planning and executing of regional centralized campaigns
  • Capability to develop and leverage centralized programs, tools, and assets to help partners and indirect sales team reach their overall revenue, and profitability targets
  • Channel marketing/management experience within high tech industry
  • Knowledge of channel structure, channel marketing process, channel incentives, programs, tools
  • Vertical marketing experience, understanding of sales cycle, and how to apply to channel marketing needs
