SharePoint Support Specialist
Duration: 3 month contract
Location: Lexington, MA
Overview: The CRS Group is currently looking for a SharePoint Support Specialist for one of our clients in the Lexington area. The CRS Group is a nationwide Staffing Firm who works primarily with Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 corporations.
Job Description:
  • The SharePoint Support Specialist is responsible for designing, managing, and planning, various aspects of the SharePoint collaboration and content infrastructure
  • This role will work with department members and a site administrator to manage, make improvements and add features to existing SharePoint sites
  • SharePoint sites have been constructed at Shire in Microsoft’s version 2010 as communication and collaboration tools as well as document repositories but will soon need to be migrated to Office 365
  • This support specialist position will help assess current functionality, complete the design of unfinished pages including image and graphic components, modify code or configurations to make improvements and to manage the transition to the newer software version
  • Such features may include, imbedded images, text and headings, sortable lists, and embedded links and spreadsheets
  • Where changes or desired new features require more complex programming or introduction of interactive graphics, the Specialist will work with internal or external consultants to make the appropriate additions and to perform the appropriate testing
  • The Specialist will also work with the Site Administrator to solicit ideas from the user community and to prioritize the requested changes or improvements as well as to deliver training materials and content

  • Bachelor’s Degree with Proven experience in the following areas:
  • Development of SharePoint sites and applications
  • Ability to create custom workflows using SharePoint Designer to support the teams business processes
  • Experience with designing front end user interfaces for a SharePoint environment
  • Experience with training others on SharePoint design
