Social Media Communications Consultant
 
Duration: 6-month contract

Overview: The CRS Group is currently looking for a Social Media Communications Consultant for one of our clients in the Chicago area. The CRS Group is a nationwide Staffing Firm who works primarily with Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 corporations.
 
 
 
Job Description:
  • The Social Media Communications Consultant will assist the Corporate Relations team in developing high quality written content across our Corporate social media channels
  • This position will be responsible for working with our Digital Communications Team to help advance the adoption of the content calendar planning process using Percolate
  • It’s essential that this in-house contractor be up-to-date with new technologies and trends, to help develop engaging content that attracts and retains customers
  • This role will be the day-to-day coordinator that helps us boost visibility of our Newsroom and plan for both owned and earned conversations
  • This role is integral in expanding our company’s digital footprint and brand awareness through our client’s digital and social media channels

 
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Digital Communications Manager to develop and execute the social media content strategy
  • Assist in managing the Corporate social media channels (Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) and content calendar planning process to help us maintain a consistent brand voice that targets our key audiences across all channels
  • Organize, tag, and aid in maturation our content marketing and planning process in Sprinklr as well as Percolate
  • Proofread and copyedit all social media content for grammar, syntax, content, legal and other issues
  • Identify trends with the Brand Newsroom and stay current on new content best practices trending topics to adjust content and messaging accordingly
  • Contribute to ongoing digital channel analysis by identifying themes and aggregating data into actionable insights
  • Produce social media listening reports that includes analysis across industry competitors as well as KPIs and benchmarks set by the organization
  • Produce a wide range of concepts and work with other creative team members to brainstorm

 
 
Qualifications:
  • Ability to understand and master the Corporation brand voice
  • Have experience writing customer-centric copy
  • Has strong wordsmithing skills
  • Can develop creative copy, images, gifs, videos and ideas
  • Has used content management systems like Sprinklr or Percolate
  • Ability to be agile and assist with additional ad hoc content requests
  • Paid Social Media creation, support and execution a plus
