Overview: The CRS Group is currently looking for a Sr. Assoc Procurement for one of our clients in the Riverwoods area. The CRS Group is a nationwide Staffing Firm who works primarily with Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 corporations.
Job Description:
  • This position requires a high degree of collaboration with management and senior management within Business Technology and is responsible for offshore labor requests within specified Business Technology areas
  • Individuals in this role will collaborate with business partners to identify, define, scope and implement non-employee staffing solutions in the offshore (ADC) labor category
  • Successful candidates will demonstrate an ability to; act as a subject matter expert regarding the ADC model, be able to manage multiple concurrent initiatives, showcase strong internal personal skills to develop relationships with all levels of the organization, remain focused on standardizing and streamlining processes

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with BT leadership to create and maintain headcount plan for offshore labor category and forecast on a monthly basis
  • Implement the above headcount plan within Smart Track and ensure data accuracy and integrity as department re-organizations occur or resource change happens
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with BT Line of Business Finance and BT project management teams and collaborate to maintain ADC headcount and budgetary alignment
  • Collaborate with BT managers and ADC suppliers to open all new requests for resources ensuring timely boarding of resources including oversight of the end to end cycle time for hiring ADC resources
  • Ensure invoicing for the offshore labor category is accurate and timely, including both time and materials and fixed price engagements
  • Collaborate with Finance and Accounting teams to ensure accurate monthly accruals and project budgets are within approved financial plans
  • Assist in reporting via Smart Track database to ensure accuracy of headcount plans, payment lines and SOW's
  • Act as a subject matter expert in the implementation of the offshore labor category ensuring hiring manager requests align with the internal requirements of the labor category as defined by Professional Services

  • 5+ years of experience within a contingent labor program office, MSP provider, or procurement analyst role
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Business, Finance, Human Resources or a related field
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to multi task, ability to standardize and streamline process
  • Be a self-starter with the ability to develop plan of action for review with Sr. Manager
  • Possess ability to communicate clearly and succinctly with Director and VP level business partners
  • Be comfortable managing up when senior level business partners require guidance relative to company policy
