Sr. Benefits & Compensation Consultant
 
Duration: 6-month contract
Location: Chicago, IL
 
Overview: The CRS Group is currently looking for a Sr. Benefits & Compensation Consultant for one of our clients in the Chicago area. The CRS Group is a nationwide Staffing Firm who works primarily with Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 corporations.
 
 
 
Job Description:
  • This position supports the Global Total Rewards team in the day to day analysis, execution and communication of programs and policies related to compensation
  • Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Evaluate and market price positions at all levels of the organization utilizing external market data and internal position comparisons to make salary recommendations to ensure alignment with the broad-based compensation structure
  • Assist in the development and ongoing maintenance of salary & hourly range structures; Oversee, run and review the Restaurant Wage Calculator to determine legal minimum wage adjustments, competitive wage adjustments and applicable compression including exception reports and related communications
  • Prepare compensation recommendations to facilitate promotions, demotions and lateral job changes
  • Develop adhoc analysis as needed to support data driven decision making
  • Identify and solution identified areas of opportunities to gain efficiencies

 
 
Qualifications:
  • Highly analytical and with strong attention to detail
  • In depth understanding of compensation principles
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power Point
  • Exceptional communication skills - both verbal and written5+ years of Compensation experience in complex environments
