Job Description


Position: Project Manager / Scrum Master
Duration: 7-12 months NO C2C's
Location: Rosemont, IL 60018 LOCALS ONLY - ON SITE


 
     I am looking for a Project Manager / Scrum Master that has managed multiple small to multiple small to mid-sized projects or a large project (Board approval level) within the merchandising systems area under IT PMO.


In this role you will partner and assist product owners with compiling a product backlog of business requirements and facilitates project/scrum meetings with development teams. You will be accountable to follow the systems development life cycle Waterfall or Agile, and project governance tollgates. As the Project Manager/Scrum Master you will partner and work closely across the IT and Business organizations and will work extensively with business and develop strong subject matter expertise in food industry applications. Will facilitate discussions with product owner in backlog grooming and prioritization


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in a business discipline.
  • Certifications, Scrum Alliance CSM or PMI-ACP or PMI-PMP.
  • 5+ years in the role of Project manager and/or Scrum Master leading IT projects.
  • Ability to anticipate risks and devise solutions in the moment.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, frequent change, or unpredictability.
  • Proven ability delivering projects either Agile or Waterfall or Hybrid.
  • Excellent facilitation, collaboration, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft products (i.e., Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint).
  • Experience with JIRA and confluence developing backlogs and risk/issue logs.
  • Experience with a MS Project Online or another PPM Tool is strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience with supply chain applications including warehouse, ordering and purchasing systems.
