Tableau Developer / Dashboard Developer /Reports Developer Analyst
Location:  Deerfield, IL  60015  
Duration:  6 – 10 months 
 
    I am looking for a Tableau Developer with 3+ years of experience building Tableau dashboards that are visually stunning, scalable and very fast.  In this role you will be working with 200+ Access Databases and accessing Teradata as well.  SQL experience is needed as well as VB and Visual Studio.

Description

• Tableau position using 200+ Access Databases.
• Position involves automating Vendor files, creating new ETL process, extracting data from Access, Teradata, SQL Server, generating Reporting Dashboards and Data feeds.

Responsibilities

• Build Tableau solutions from the ground up that are visually stunning, scalable, and very fast.
• In-depth knowledge of SQL and the ability to build and analyze datasets is critical.
• Ability to understand the architecture and to present and defend an architectural design in Tableau.
• Follow best practices regarding organizing folders, lay out security groups, and design scalable reporting solutions.
• Develop cutting edge reports, adheres to Tableau best practices, and act as a supporting resource for other developers.
• Develop and provide documentation, training, and support.
• Participate in meetings to understand project definitions and offer design reviews.
• Evaluate the needs and requirement of the users and provides technical expertise in the development of technical, structural and organizational specifications related to Tableau report.
• 3+ years of experience with Tableau and the ability to teach other Tableau developers is essential
• Strong experience working with relational databases.
• SQL experience, including the ability to troubleshoot queries and tune queries for performance
• Design, develop, and implement visualizations for our business teams following effective design principles to support ongoing business analysis and operations
• Collaborate in the planning, design, development, test, and deployment of new BI solutions.
• Provide production support for new and existing BI solutions; resolve issues with reports and data as identified by users.
