Position:  Tableau Developer
Duration:  6-12 months / contract to hire
Location:  New Albany, OH  43054  100% onsite – NO C2C’s
      I am looking for a seasoned Data Visualization Dashboard developer with 3+ years of experience working with Tableau.  In this position you would be working on a team that supports the enterprise for dashboards to include creating new dashboards, revamping the existing dashboards and optimizing dashboards in Tableau.  The ideal candidate have previous experience in MS Access Applications and databases, will be a seasoned Tableau developer with SQL, and Unix experience.  Teradata Experience a plus.
In this role you will: 
  • Build Tableau solutions from the ground up that are visually stunning, scalable, and very fast
  • Automate Vendor files, create new ETL process, extract data from Access, Teradata, SQL Server, generate Reporting Dashboards and Data feeds
  • Work directly with Business Partner from the Collections Unit and Delinquent / Charge off / Payment flow 
  • Follow best practices regarding organizing folders, lay out security groups, and design scalable reporting solutions
  • Develop cutting edge reports, adhere to Tableau best practices, and act as a supporting resource for other developers
  • Develop and provide documentation, train, and support
  • Participate in meetings to understand project definitions and offer design reviews
  • Evaluate the needs and requirement of the users and provides technical expertise in the development of technical, structural and organizational specifications related to Tableau report
  • Design, develop, and implement visualizations for our business teams following effective design principles to support ongoing business analysis and operations
  • Collaborate in the planning, design, development, test, and deployment of new BI solutions
  • Provide production support for new and existing BI solutions; resolve issues with reports and data as identified by users

  • In-depth knowledge of SQL and the ability to build and analyze data sets is critical
  • Ability to understand the architecture and to present and defend an architectural design in Tableau
