Overview: The CRS Group is currently looking for a Windows Server Engineer for one of our clients in the Tempe area. The CRS Group is a nationwide Staffing Firm who works primarily with Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 corporations.
Job Description:
  • Provide subject matter domain expertise and oversight for the design, planning, configuration, implementation, and testing of new system infrastructure
  • Provide expert technical support and problem resolution
  • Provide technical support documentation, automation, processes and procedures
  • Familiar with and recommends standard concepts, best practices, frameworks, and procedures within a particular domain specialty
  • Promote and deploy automation of provisioning and self-services infrastructure platforms
  • Document system infrastructure configurations, mappings, and processes
  • Collaborates with outside vendors, project managers, IT domains, and support teams abiding by cultural beliefs to work together effectively and efficiently in an agile environment to ensure successful implementations
  • Works with multiple technology vendors on a variety of products, services, and technology introductions

  • 5+ years’ IT experience
  • 5+ years Windows Server engineering and administration
  • 3+ years working in a VMware ESX environment
  • 3+ years Active Directory Administration experience (design, deployment, upgrades, etc)
  • Strong scripting and automation skills
  • O365 Admin and Integration experience a plus
  • BigFix experience is a plus
  • Chef experience is a plus

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred BS, IS, CIS or related field
  • Relevant certification preferred
